Joachim Krane

Joachim Krane is a lawyer and partner in the Industrial Liability department at the Munich office. After serving for many years as Head of Claims at a globally operating industrial liability insurer, he came to BLD as a highly recognised specialist in international complex claims, especially in the context of product liability and D&O insurance. In recent years, he has handled a large number of cross-border claims and arbitration proceedings, such as advising a D&O excess of loss insurer on negotiations for a coverage settlement in the context of the Volkswagen emissions scandal, and an international W&I insurer on extensive arbitration proceedings in a post M&A dispute.
