The Construction Insurance department is led by two partners, Dr Wolfram Ellwanger and Dr Martin Alexander. The team of more than ten lawyers in this department include legally specialised and technically knowledgeable experts who, thanks to their experience, know the particularities of contentious disputes “on site”. In cooperation with experts, our team assist insurance companies, architects, construction planners, general contractors, craftsmen and many other parties involved, defending claims that range from home construction to complex large-scale infrastructure projects. In recent years, we have advised insurance companies on matters concerning, for example, the delayed opening of the Berlin Brandenburg Airport and the collapse of the Cologne city archive.
