Judith Schöningh opened the event with a speech to kick off the year and then introduced the BLD Women Connect initiative. She explained the driving force behind the network: to break through learned patterns in a rather male-dominated working world and strengthen the female side of the insurance industry.
"Every network thrives on development and direct dialogue," said Christiane Osterspey. For this reason, the initiators exchanged ideas and objectives of the initiative with the participants in the following part of the event. In addition to networking and professional development, BLD Women Connect is also about initiating social change.
Christina Eckes then asked the participants what formats and content they would be interested in in the future. Softskill workshops, coaching and mentoring are all offers that the audience would also be happy to see in 2024. To round off the kick-off, it was straight into networking with an initial opportunity to get to know each other in small groups.
