The external launch of our women's network BLD Women Connect took place yesterday. We are delighted that, after numerous successful internal events, we were now able to present our network to our clients at the first BLD Women Connect networking event. After welcoming words by the initiators Christina Eckes, Christiane Osterspey and Judith Schöningh as well as the managing partner Bastian Finkel, an exciting and inspiring exchange of experiences followed between the partners Helen Faulkner and Lisa Broderick, DACB. The participants were given personal insights into the success stories of Helen and Lisa. They shared their motivation, their goals and the successes of their Women+ network to date. This was followed by a legal presentation by BLD lawyer Frauke Bartels on the complex issues that arise in the context of cross-border civil proceedings after Brexit. The afternoon was rounded off with an interactive body language coaching session by Claudia Timpner with vivid examples that impressively demonstrated the importance of small details in non-verbal communication.
