In December 2022, the team moved into the offices in Ellipson on Ruhrallee. Operations then started right on time on 1 January 2023. The opening ceremony followed at the beginning of March, which was also attended by numerous clients from the Ruhr region. Further events, starting with a property insurance meeting on 14 March, were held throughout the first year. A training event was organised for the Dortmund insurance companies Volkswohl Bund, Continentale and Signal Iduna at the beginning of August. The Dortmund 2023 programme concluded with a workshop on personal injury on 30 November.
Like the office in Hamburg, which opened in 2023, the BLD office in Dortmund is an expression of the firm's continuous growth. Eleven lawyers and seven paralegals and assistants currently work above Dortmund's rooftops in the Ruhr region. A strong team that continued to grow together during a company outing to the digital exhibition "Phoenix des Lumières" in September.
