Dr Tobias Britz is a lawyer and partner at the Cologne office. He is a Specialist Insurance Lawyer and leads the Life & Regulatory department with Dr Martin Schaaf and Dr Alexander Beyer. He advises and represents insurers and other pension providers, including supplementary pension funds for the public sector, primarily in the area of life insurance and pensions. Dr Tobias Britz is considered one of the leading German legal advisors on pensions. In recent years, he has advised numerous pension providers as well as employers, inter alia, on contractual, brokerage, supervisory and labour law issues regarding the design and implementation of pension commitments, the redesign of compensation and reorganisation funds, transactions within the firm’s own investments and new product concepts.
